Portrait Of A Metal Worker

This short profile film on Nicholas DiChiara is the second of a series of three mini-documentaries undertaken by filmmaker  Eliu Cornielle  as personal project. Nicholas is a talented metal artist from Philadelphia, from his small shop in Fishtown he makes beautiful custom made furniture, sculptures and stylish lighting fixtures designed and built with a modern industrial look. Cornielle shows what life is like for someone who makes a living off of building things with his hands. Sparks fly, metal gets shaped, wood gets sanded and lovely industrial designs get created.

9/11 : Remember, Reflect, Renew

It is hard to believe that it has been more than 10 years since the day that changed the world. No American who lived through the events of Sept. 11, 2001 will ever forgot the emotions of that day.

Today we take a few minutes to pause and remember those who lost their lives, reflect on the changes that have shaped our world since that day and think about ways to renew our commitment to securing freedom for ourselves and generations to come.
