Stonehenge transformed into Fire Garden

In preparation for the upcoming London Olympics, each evening from 10-12 July, Stonehenge was transformed into a "Fire Garden" by French outdoor alchemists Compagnie Carabosse, with fire sculptures flickering across the landscape, candles lining the pathways and flaming fire pots lighting up the ancient stone circle.

San Francisco Bay Bridge Celebrates 75th Anniversary with Light Installation

The Bay Lights is a light installation designed by artist Leo Villareal to celebrate the 75th anniversary of San Francisco’s Bay Bridge.

The project, which is similar to the lighting of the Eiffel Tower for its 100th anniversary, includes 25,000 white LEDs that will be hung on the Bay Bridge cables. The installation will be 1.5 miles long and 230 feet high, seven times the scale of the lighting system created for the Eiffel Tower. Read more here...
